Back when I first started playing pool 9 years ago, when we would receive a trophy of plaque. Yes, we received plaques from time to time too. These items would be personalized. My trophy or plaque would have my name on it and it would definitely have my teams name on it.

I really liked the fact that these were personalized to each individual and each team. This seems to me that it fosters both individual accomplishment and team spirit.

The national rules page 85 rule #9 No male 1's allowed in 9-ball and no male 2's allowed in 8-ball. Therefore, as a local league, this league has chosen to stick with that national rule for all local play and higher level tournaments. It does not need to be written in the by-laws because it does not deviate with the national rule. If a local area chose to adopt men being able to be a 1 in 9-ball and a 2 in 8-ball for local play and or higher level tournaments then they should include it in their by-laws.
